attention)一种劝导说服方法。即在传播者与受传者之间观点不很一致的情况下,传播者在传递信息的同时借助其他信息分散一下受传者的注意力,创造较为轻松、冷静、从容、和谐的心理气氛,避免在敏感问题上陷入对立的僵局。许多心理实验
(例如利昂。费斯汀格和内森·麦科比,1964)证明,这种做法更容易使人们接受所传播的信息。比如领导与群众谈话时,先从群众感兴趣的或关心的问题谈起,当双方关系较为融洽时,再涉及重要问题。这样的谈话效果一般比较好。分散注意力的做法并不是去扰乱人们的正常心理,而是旨在避免人们的片面、固执、偏见和对抗等消极心理因素,使人们以积极、开放的态度冷静、客观地分析和接受所传播的观点。
